The Racist Roots of Peter John Ross and Social Media Monster

At first glance, the Peter John Ross film Social Media Monster appears to be just another average, run of the mill documentary about an internet troll. It’s not. The film is really a cleverly disguised racist, Blue Lives Matter propaganda campaign, a front for a cyber stalking and real world stalking campaign, and a consumer fraud scheme.

The film says one thing but digging deeper and looking behind the scenes, the real motive becomes clear.

San Luis Obispo

On the Mindy & Mikaela iHeart Radio Show, the the director exclaimed, “He keeps saying the film is racist but it doesn’t even talk about race!”

Ross then goes on to talk about how the film was circulated around the San Luis Obispo County, California prosecutor’s office, to help “protect a man’s job.” Ross gushed that he was overjoyed that he could “help someone” with his movie.

The prosecutor was Dan Dow, who charged Black Lives Matter organizer, Tatiana Arata, and only black people, at the San Luis Obispo Black Lives Matter protests. Dow was later removed from prosecuting Arata after conflicts of interest were discovered. Dow had attempted to raise re-election funds using her arrest in his fundraising e-mails.

The man Ross protected was Dow’s lead investigator, Terry O’Ferrel, who had been telephone harassing me and making threats towards me for close to a week after I’d filed police reports against Ross, for e-mailing me images of slit throats and severed heads, along with threats to locate and murder my mother.

Rather than investigate the crimes against me, which had been reported to Sheriff Ian Parkinson, a week earlier, Dow realized I was fighting to help black people, including Arata, and that was I exposing corrupt police. O’Ferrel exclaimed, to me, “Why on Earth would we want this case?”

Dow has a well documented history of refusing to investigate police misconduct. He’s a staunch Blue Lives Matter supporter.

Dow’s office then worked with the Sheriff to destroy the police report and stop the investigation into Ross’s actions, affording him protecting from prosecution if he got rid of me. Even though part of the stalking crime had occurred in the City of San Luis Obispo, the chief of police recused himself from investigating, stating a “conflict of interest.”

Ross provided his Social Media Monster propaganda scheme for Dow to distribute to the San Luis Obispo Grant Jury, as a cover story, which protected the prosecutor and obstructed justice into an investigation into Ross, himself.

Dow, who was up for re-election, used Ross’s film to protect his own political career. The San Luis Obispo Tribune, who had witnessed all of this, covered the story up. Dow was later re-elected and Arata’s prosecution continued.

National Racism Scandal

Roughy a year before San Luis Obispo, CNN and Associated Press reported that a star of Ross’s film, St. Joseph, Missouri City Councilman Brian Myers, had become embroiled in a national racism scandal. Myers had dressed up as a slave owner while the mayor appeared as Aunt Jemima, at a city sponsored Halloween party.

Ross hid the scandal from the public and film festivals and did not modify the film.

Social Media Monster portrays Myers as a brave fighter for social justice. Myers complains in the film that I’d called him a bigot and a racist, portraying me as dishonest for saying as such.

The Burning Babies of Barstow

Two years later, in 2022, Franklin County judge Jaiza Page signed off on a ruling that stated Ross had made videos of babies on fire, in 2019, to “mock me.” I’m encouraging people to watch it, to understand the true sadistic nature of the director.

These babies were a group of very real minority children, in Barstow, California, who were and are experiencing blisters and rashes from the local poison water supply. Even though the babies were actually brown, Ross made them white in the video, to avoid tripping Facebook’s racism filters.

Since 2015, I’d been fighting to clean up Barstow drinking water, which has high levels of residual chlorine, when Ross showed up in town with his propaganda plot, working to destroy my cause. He’d been attacking my efforts to fight for minority, elderly, and disabled people, for years.

Eventually, Ross managed to wreck my efforts to fix the bad water. Later, when I told the story in a Facebook Live video, Ross took my video and added images of babies and “exaggerated flames.” Those minority children are still impacted, to this very day.

Flint Water Crisis

During the same case, roughly an hour of my testimony was dedicated to how Ross had worked to stop me from exposing the developing Flint Water Crisis, over a year before the scandal broke nationally, impacting 46,000 African Americans. He’d filed frivolous litigation against me, in 2015, drained me over $50,000 of my funding for ToxicWasteSites.org which was to be used to expose Flint.

My case detailed out how Ross had communicated with white, conservative citizens in Flint, and used them to circulate a large web of propaganda, to discredit me. He’d sent them copies of the dismissed court filing, with the dismissed disposition removed, and told them, “We need to find him.” Citizens all over the city began hunting me and threatening me.

Since 2014, my .org has been working to educate the public about the 500 Superfund toxic waste sites within a mile of public housing, affecting millions of minorities, elderly and disabled people. Ross’s relentless targeting and stalking has decimated my organization. He’s impacted millions of black lives, over the last 11 years.

No human life has been spared in the director’s efforts to take me out.

Sex Offender Allegations

Just when I’d thought the situation couldn’t get any more outlandish, it came out that a source for his film, Richard Humphrey, the owner of Scumbagged.com, is a registered Tier III sex offender, in Ohio. Ross covered that up, too.

Scamming Film Festivals

As Mr. Ross and his propaganda film scheme started to collapse from the weight of its own corruption., he began setting up volumes of Film Freeway accounts, and created dozens of fake titles and fake covers for the film, to prevent festivals from learning of his beyond absurd racist behavior.

Now the film could screen all over the world, without festival staff learning of his deranged targeted harassment scheme.. Just to mock me further, he published that he was doing this, on his X account, and “nobody cared.” Film Freeway readily joined in the plot and refused to remove the film from its platform.

Ross claimed it was to keep festivals safe from me but the moment the festivals were over, he’d publicly name them, demonstrating that he wasn’t trying to protect anyone at all. He was simply trying to hide his actions from festival staff who would not select his film if they knew the real facts.

Halcon, Dimond, Police Funding, Blue Lives Matter

The film was partially funded by retired Los Angeles County DA staffer, and undercover narcotics detective, Ernest “Ernie” Halcon Jr.. Ernie is key figure in the late Gary Webb’s Dark Alliance series, which exposed how the CIA had introduced crack cocaine into the City of Los Angeles, to fund contras. During Halcon’s career, he’d participated in helping fill California’s prisons with African Americans, based on trumped up crack cocaine charges.

The trailer for part 2 of Social Media Monster shows that the infamous, and now discredited, Diane Dimond, is a part of the series. She’s most notably known for exposing the Michael Jackson child molestation allegations, for Inside Edition. On her X account, during the Los Angeles Black Lives Matter protest, she’s called for all protesters of police violence to be arrested.

The Social Media Monster film, itself, without directly stating it, is a Blue Lives Matter themed propaganda campaign, and voraciously defends the St. Joseph, Missouri Police Department. Even though the department experienced waves of national scandals, during production, all of this was withheld from the audience. St. Joe PD are portrayed is “good cops just doing their jobs,” by Peter John Ross.

Only days ago, Ross launched yet another campaign, this time to protect an LAPD officer who may have committed attempted vehicular homicide, in downtown LA. He’s using his film and campaign to target the entire Black Lives Matter LA movement, even though the video content he’s sharing has nothing to do with the complaint I filed with the Los Angeles Police Commission, over Los Angeles PD Internal Affairs Group falsifying investigations.

Targeted Harassment & Suicide

Four days ago, X completed an investigation which determined that Ross was weaponizing his social media accounts, using them for targeted harassment, and was attempting to incite me to commit suicide. Their Trust & Safety department determined that he was, in fact, engaged in abusive behavior, and banned him from the site, permanently.

I’ve got a file folder of over 18,000 abusive posts that Ross posted about me, over the last 11 years. At one point he even made a board game which encourages players to stalk me and destroy my life and career.

His film project is a front for a massive organized stalking campaign. To date, he’s run over 1,500 social media accounts. IMDb removed 250 of his accounts for astroturfing my listing with hundreds of fake 1-star reviews. Reddit has banned over 100 accounts used to harass me and smear my name. Wordpress banned 36 separate blogs with over 90,000 abusive posts.

Peter John Ross is one of the most prolific cyber predators in US history.

Building a case for consumer fraud, racketeering and stalking against Ross is as easy as looking at his X posts where he publicly admits he’s engaged in felony activity and laughs about it.
