FBI FOIA Request Reveals Peter John Ross Attempted To Scam The FBI

After this site called out the Social Media Monster director for failing to release the FBI file featured in the film, he released the records. The FOIA release reveals a sinister plot to manipulate and lie to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

First, the FOIA records reveal it’s not a copy of my FBI file, as it was stated in the film.

Second, the FOIA records do not confirm an investigation occurred but that an agent received his tip, conducted a follow up call and dismissed the complaint, telling Ross it was a matter for local police.

Third, and most importantly, the FOIA records reveal how Ross cherry picked data from the Daily Independent Journal X/Twitter account and made an absurd claim that I had stolen spend nuclear fuel rods from the Morris Operation, in Morris, Illinois.

The Morris Operation is the nations only permanent storage facility for high level transuranic waste. Working for Daily Independent Journal, I’d uncovered the Morris Operation. I publicly called out security flaws that would allow a hostile domestic or foreign actor to obtain the materials for a dirty bomb.

As the article — which is ironically featured in the film — states, increased security was needed at this facility, to protect the US from terrorism.

While I was investigating, I’d sent out a series of tweets detailing out the moments I was at the facility.

Ross cherry picked these tweets and grafted them into his tip.

Ross said that he believed that I had stolen nuclear materials from the Morris Operation, that he believed I was schizophrenic, and that Alex Hwang was involved, contrasting his repeated statements on podcasts for the film, “I do not believe Matthew Berdyck is schizophrenic.”

Years prior, Ross had made false tips to the FBI claiming that the money I was carrying around was from “drug running,” even though the movie clearly states the money was from Alex Hwang.

On multple occasions, Ross has attempted to manipulate and alarm FBI agents into investigating both myself and Alex.

It’s important for viewers to be aware that an agent that is following up on a tip is not the same thing as opening a formal investigation.

The release reveals that the FBI conducted this tip follow up via phone, not in person.

As of now, no evidence has been presented that a formal FBI investigation was ever opened, that there was ever a case submitted to the US Attorney Northern District, or that over a dozen FBI offices investigated me.

Lying to the FBI is a felony.

Update:

Two data after posting this, Ross had this exchange on YouTube.
